NEW SEASON IN PLANNING FOR 2009: WATCH THIS SPACE!

Due to a range of issues, financial and personal, BMJC went a bit quiet in 2008. However, we're hopeful of securing new funding - and the personal commitments which diverted attention in 08 are now largely resolved. So, we're hoping to be back later in 2009, probably for the autumn. Please watch this space... and apologies to those of you who have been checking back here from time to time in search of news. We will be back.

Bournemouth Modern Jazz Club is Bournemouth's only club promoting the most exciting, cutting-edge jazz and related musics from across the UK. An independent, non-profit making society, our mission is to promote the finest contemporary music in a relaxed, informal setting. Established in 2004, past gigs have included GrupoX, Dave O'Higgins Quintet, Geoff Eales Trio, Robin Jones' Latin Jazz Sextet, Ian Shaw, Liane Carroll, Ben Castle, Jean Toussaint, Tina May Quartet, Anita Wardell Quartet, Atlantico, Martin Shaw, Karen Sharp Quartet, Simon Spillett, AMBULANCE, Soothsayers, Jason Rebello Trio and many more...
